Welcome to GM Barbershop (“GM Barbershop,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website www.gmbarbershop.ca and the barbering services we provide. By accessing our website, booking an appointment, or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

1. Services

GM Barbershop provides professional grooming and barbering services, including but not limited to:

  • Haircuts, trims, and styling

  • Beard grooming and shaping

  • Shaves and line-ups

  • Hair treatments

  • Grooming consultations

All services are subject to availability and confirmation at the time of booking.

2. Appointment Booking

  • Appointments can be booked online, by phone, or in person.

  • Booking confirmation may be required before the service is provided.

  • Walk-in appointments are accepted subject to availability.

We reserve the right to refuse or reschedule a booking if necessary.

3. Cancellations & No-Shows

  • Clients are asked to provide reasonable notice if they need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

  • Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a cancellation fee or forfeiture of any deposit paid.

  • Repeated no-shows may require prepayment for future bookings.

Cancellation policies will be communicated at the time of booking.

4. Payments

  • Payment for all services is due at the time of the appointment unless otherwise agreed.

  • We accept approved payment methods as listed in-shop or on our website.

  • Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

5. Service Satisfaction & Adjustments

Due to the personalised nature of grooming services:

  • Refunds are generally not provided once a service is completed.

  • If you are not satisfied with your service, please notify us within 24 hours so we can assess and, where reasonable, offer an adjustment or correction.

  • Adjustments are offered at our discretion and do not apply to normal wear or hair growth after the service.

6. Client Responsibilities & Health

Clients agree to:

  • Inform us of any scalp sensitivities, allergies, skin conditions, or health concerns before the service.

  • Follow any aftercare advice provided by our team.

  • Maintain proper grooming practices between visits.

GM Barbershop is not responsible for reactions or issues resulting from undisclosed conditions or failure to follow aftercare guidance.

7. Hygiene & Safety

We adhere to strict hygiene and sanitation standards. For health and safety reasons, we may refuse or discontinue a service if we believe it poses a risk to the client or staff.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GM Barbershop shall not be liable for:

  • Allergic reactions where prior disclosure was not made

  • Normal hair growth or style changes after service

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses

Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.

9. Website Use & Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and branding, is the property of GM Barbershop and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written permission.
